c3: Papermaking Residency Application Now Open

The 2018 c3: Papermaking Residency application is now open! Four creatives will be awarded residencies May-August 2018 at Pulp & Deckle​ studio in Portland, OR, culminating with a group exhibition.

The residency focuses on illuminating possibilities within the medium of papermaking and encourages experimentation, risk, research, and collaborative learning. The group exhibition highlights hand papermaking as a contemporary art medium.

Residents receive:
– An introductory group workshop at the Pulp & Deckle studio with fellow papermaking residents
– Technical assistance from lead papermaker, Jenn Woodward
– A one month residency at the Pulp & Deckle studio
– A materials stipend of $250
– A group exhibition with fellow papermaking residents
