Transparency

Because we are so small, and this is our first opportunity to engage with the community through a paid project, we want to ensure that folks applying are fully aware that we are not commissioning new work from you. We know $125 is not a lot to offer for your work, and we are pursuing larger grants for bigger projects so that we can pay more and justify the commissioning of original works.

We received $5,000 from our funding partner, and 52% of that is being funneled back to queer artists through Queer Futures Zine, and our Co-Designing Community Convening. The remaining funds will go to pay for the publication of the zine, and for the administration costs of the Convening. Only QTBIPOC 3oC Collaborators will be paid for the time they commit to this project. Once our project has concluded and our project budget has been finalized, we will publish the project expense report on our website.
