Jehra Patrick is an artist, curator, gallery director, and independent program producer, with over 10 years of experience in arts programming.

Jehra is currently Director and Curator of the Law Warschaw Gallery at Macalester College, where she oversees the exhibition program and college art collection. In the past year, she’s revised the gallery’s audience engagement strategy, broadened fundraising strategies, created a new digital collections management system and acquisitions policy, revised student worker job duties and training, and developed the college’s first intra-campus art loan program. Prior to Macalester, she worked Program Director of, a long-standing art and community program within the Walker Art Center’s Education and Community Programs department, leading through a very intensive redesign project through a National Leadership Grant from the Institute of Museum and Library Services. Through this process, she worked with stakeholders — the Walker Art Center and the McKnight Foundation, and our community at large — to re-envision the program’s relevance, mission, and programmatic offerings to best serve the regional artistic community.

Alongside her work in arts management and curation, she has maintained a practice as an exhibiting studio artist. which has contributed to a uniquely insightful vantage, and reciprocal trust, when working with artists. In 2014, she founded Waiting Room, and independent exhibition platform, and in 2016 she co-founded “All Gal,” with Regan Golden, a social and professional development network for artists who identify as women.
