Nerissa Cooney is an arts organizer, designer, and creative entrepreneur, working in a variety of roles that champion arts and culture, whilst highlighting the importance of positive social impact. Having worked collaboratively to organize community projects, for institutions, grassroots initiatives, and arts startups, she is currently the director of public engagement for Mana Contemporary, a multifaceted arts facility committed to supporting and showcasing the creative process. She is also a co-founder of Ulises, a bookshop and project space based in Philadelphia, dedicated to artists' books and independent publishing.
