Brittany is the COO at Black Girl Magik. Black Girl Magik is a multidisciplinary collective based in Brooklyn, NY using art and education to explore communal care, ancestral knowledge, cross-generational healing and African Diasporic traditions. BGM confronts the limited diversity in wellness through Black community participatory spaces featuring practitioners of African descent and drawing upon healing practices derived from African Diasporic traditions.

BGM’s approach to space-making has been featured on Oprah Winfrey Network, Zora Mag, Girl Boss, i-D Vice and has been honored by OkayAfrica’s 2019 100 Women and the National Council of Negro Women at UCONN. BGM has conducted interactive workshops at SXSW, The New School, The New Museum, Smith College, Girl Boss Rally and through their 2019 POWRPLNT residency.
