Lisa Lee

Lisa Yun Lee is a cultural activist, a writer, public historianm, and Associate Professor of art history, museum and exhibition studies, and gender studies at University of Illinois at Chicago.  Lisa currently serves as Executive Director of the National Public Housing Museum in Chicago and associate professor of public culture and museum studies at the University of Illinois at Chicago, and teaches a class on oral history at Stateville Prison.  She is focused on radically democratic practices that can advance abolition and imagine reparations.  Lisa served as the co-chair of the Arts & Culture Transition Committee for Mayor Lori Lightfoot.
