Mark your calendars! The next Common Field Convening will be in Philadelphia, PA. From April 25 - 28, 2019, 400+ arts organizers will gather for three days of dialog, discussion, debate, workshops, and practical and social exchanges exploring the state of the artist organization field. We’re excited to leap forward to the spring of 2019, instead of hosting the Convening in the fall as we’ve done in the past. We believe more time to plan and engage the local and national artist organization network will lead to a more thoughtful, inclusive and impactful gathering. Read more here.

Field Grants provide support to ideas that generate exchange, connection, and thinking on arts organizing projects and practices. In 2018, Common Field will award up to 10 Field Grants of $1,000 each through two rounds. Common Field seeks to facilitate the development and distribution of knowledge and a growing understanding and value of the artist organization field through this and our other programs.
Field Grantees share supported documentation in a variety of formats and prepare a short post for the Common Field website.
