WELCOME NEW BOARD MEMBERS
Common Field is excited to welcome two arts leaders to its Board of Directors. We’re thrilled to welcome Eunsong Kim (Boston, MA) and Sarah Williams (Los Angeles, CA). Their deep commitment to the field, leadership in their communities and role in supporting artists and organizers make them exciting new additions to our Board.

Eunsong Kim is an arts writer, poet and translator. She teaches critical race & ethnic studies at Northeastern University. She is the recipient of the Ford Foundation Fellowship, a grant from the Andy Warhol Art Writers Program, and Yale's Poynter Fellowship.

Sarah Williams is a co-founder and Executive Director of the Women’s Center for Creative Work (WCCW). She has produced projects, exhibitions, programs, events and publications with ForYourArt, WCCW, CLOSING, and the Art Book Review and also serves on the board of ProjectQ.

AN OPEN BOARD NOMINATIONS PROCESS
In late 2018 Common Field initiated an open nomination process for its Board of Directors as part of our ongoing effort to build a board that reflects our field and the wide range of folks working in it—across geographies, practices, skill sets, and experiences. Through the process we brought on four new members in 2019 in two phases - Jackie Clay and Jessica Lynne in April 2019 and Eunsong Kim and Sarah Wiliams in October 2019.

In an effort to remain open and responsive to our field, we are keeping this form open throughout the year. Our next review of nominees will begin in May of 2020, with reviews and interviews in the summer of 2020 for new members to begin in October 2020.
