2022 Membership Transition Fund

Our 2022 membership transition fund is meant to support current Common Field Network members in transitioning to, or engaging with, other membership programs and communities to stay connected to the larger field of practice.

The goals of this transition fund include:

  • Supporting our current Network members to remain connected with their peers in the field through engaging with other network programs

  • Offsetting the cost of joining a new membership program (membership fees,) or supporting you to participate in free membership programs that have cost-based opportunities

  • Encouraging our current Network members to bring their ideas and commitments to other organizations in the network, or participate in networking events.

Common Field can provide $50 in funds to partially subsidize the transition to new networks for up to 200 current Common Field Network members. We hope that this provides our Network members who need support with an opportunity to choose new communities to engage with. Common Field will be accepting requests for $50 membership transition funds from Network Members from June 30 through August 8, 2022 and will issue payments to all recipients no later than August 26, 2022.

Requests for funds will be accepted on a rolling basis during the application period and funds will be distributed until they are no longer available.

We encourage all applicants to fill out our 2022 Closing Survey to share their reflections, insights, and imaginations for the future.

Eligibility and Criteria

All current Common Field Network members are eligible to apply and that is the only criteria for this fund. Fund requests via application will be processed and paid out on a rolling basis so we encourage you to submit your application as soon as possible if you would like to receive this support, as funds are limited.

All applications will be reviewed and processed in the order they are received. Common Field staff will be reviewing requests to confirm eligibility. Once that is confirmed, requests will be processed.
